Roman Ipfling is a Director at DMS Governance Ltd. (DMS) and is responsible for leading the International Tax Compliance Group. In the latter role, he is responsible for the management operations, systems and reporting of the team.
Mr. Ipfling also provides director, trustee and related administration services to a wide range of investment vehicles and structures.
Prior to joining DMS he served as U.S. Tax Manager at KPMG LLP, Cayman Islands and was a member of the firm’s Global FATCA team.
Mr. Ipfling also served as Vice President of Capital Dynamics, a Swiss independent asset manager, where he managed the administration and investor relations for several private equity funds and structured products. He also supervised administrators and oversaw audits, tax preparation, and regulatory filings.
Earlier in his career, he worked in the U.S. tax group of KPMG Cayman Islands and Ernst & Young Germany, advising on a wide range of partnership and corporate international tax and reporting issues.
He is a graduate of the University of Denver, where he earned a Master of Taxation and Master in Accountancy degree. He also earned a Diploma in Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting, Business Taxation, and Banking/Finance from the University of Saarland, Germany.
He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of CPAs.
