Anne Storie is Chief Executive Officer of DMS Governance Ltd. (DMS), leading the firm’s Managing Directors and its 225 employees and directing operations in seven jurisdictions.
In a distinguished career spanning nearly a decade at DMS, Ms. Storie’s proven organizational leadership skills and expertise in strategic planning, product development, project management, and financial planning have been instrumental in propelling DMS to global leadership in fund governance and helping to grow its client base with assets under management from $200 to $330 billion.
Over the years, she led the multinational operations expansion of DMS, presiding over the successful launch of offices in Ireland (2008), Hong Kong and Brazil (2010) New York (2011) Luxembourg (2012) and London (2013). She has also been responsible for leading and implementing several major technology and infrastructure projects, building first-rate teams to support the firm’s ever-expanding service lines and developing effective workflows to match the company’s growth.
Prior to her promotion as Chief Executive Officer, she served DMS as Director of Operations. In this role, she successfully designed and implemented a global operating model for the company, with client service standards across all offices. She also provided project management expertise on client and regulatory projects and delivered leadership training to the various operations team members.
Ms. Storie has prior experience as a Corporate Administrator both at DMS and a leading law firm in the Cayman Islands, where she gained experience in the mutual fund practice area and fund filing and compliance with regulatory authorities.
Before relocating to the Cayman Islands, she worked at Cananwill Premium Funding (a subsidiary of Aon) in Glenview, Illinois.
Ms. Storie earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is approved by the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority as an Officer for DMS Offshore Investment Services Ltd. and DMS Corporate Services Ltd. She is a member of the Cayman Islands Directors Association, 100 Women in Hedge Funds and various committees involved in charitable outreach.
